Cord Overland Park

Cord is a Kansas City native, born in KCMO and graduating high school from Shawnee Mission East where his love for jewelry-making began. He holds two BFA degrees from the University of Kansas in art education and jewelry design. After graduating college he spent three years living in Denver, CO, participating in the Americorps NCCC program and starting his career in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler at Bailey, Banks, and Biddle. Returning home from Colorado in 2002, Cord continued working continuously as a bench jeweler in the Kansas City area before joining Toner Jewelers in 2015. Cord is passionate about all facets of jewelry production from repairs to manufacturing custom pieces and stone-setting. Cord married his beautiful wife, Eka in 2010 and has two gorgeous daughters, Chloe and Clover.
